13. jan 2010 17:09, MikkelTonight the pool season started again and we were up again st the weakest team we have ever faced.. and we lost. Twice in 11 games have we been up against weaker teams and twice have we lost, so apparently we desperately need to be underdogs to put on a good show. Thats ok I suppose since we'll be big underdogs for 8 of the next 9 matches ;)
Still we had some great fun and said our welcome to two new strong players on our team and we got to celebrate Johans birthday as well. Good night out with friends and "fans".
Our top player from last season, local pool prodigy Nick "#1" has left the team to go up North. He received a phonecall from his dad late one night and was ordered to join a monestary and sign up to be a monk there ASAP. He did as ordered and left for Isaan the next day... guess he is all shaved and sober now. No more pool and beer for our star player, but I very much hope our paths will cross again in the future.
Other than that work is pretty extreme, lots of new responsibility and lots of new stuff to learn. I will be headed to Scandinavia next week for a series of business meetings and I'll take advantage of the chance to meet my family in Denmark and my in-laws in Norway while I'm in Sweden on company business anyway ;)
Life is "interesting" and I'm out of my comfort zone in a big way, but if I manage to hold it all together I'm going to learn a lot of new skills and hopefully take a step forward in my professional life.
Marianne is sweet and supportive and nice and good for me as always.. the sun is shining every day, the pool is cool and we have friends all around in Kamala. Life is as good as ever despite the stupid idiotic lousy loss in the tournament today. Arrghhhhh HOW COULD WE LET THEM WIN ?!?!?
(nah I'm over it and now I'll head for bed with a good book)

Det er simpelthen for dårligt. Jeg sidder lige nu og sætter ild til mit sæsonkort til jeres kampe :-(

Jeg er så heldigvis for holdet ikke med de næste 3 kampe hvor den står på Skandinavien for mit vedkommende.. overvejer at få sat et webcam op ved bordet så jeg kan følge kampene live ;)
Kan være vi skal ud og spille lidt i Aalborg, det synes jeg ville være helt kanon?

Aalborg? Hvad er det nu, det er? Jeg har hørt folk snakke om det, men pga. sur baby kan jeg ikke huske, hvordan Aalborg ser ud...

Så er det vel nok heldigt at storebror kommer og redder dig fra den snigende baby sot.... om mindsteren så er helt gasblå i hovedet af raseri så skal du med ud en tur.
